Thermochromic - Nanoen

Dye shows color when exposed to the light, which is affected by the environment, and the thermochromic dye changes its color subject to the ambient temperature.  As the thermochromic dye is sensitive to the environment, its microencapsulation is required to protect and retain the dye.

The core material structure is changed and decolorized, when thermochromic microcapsule is heated, which restores its structure and color when it is cooled down.
